I am Shola and I do a lot of work for charity. One of them is running for different charities. I started raising money for Race for life 8 year ago when my mum-in-law passed away from cancer. From then on, I have been running every year as a ritual. Every two minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. Now I run with the hope that in 10 years time, with all the research that is happening at the moment cancer will be eradicated from this planet.
Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life is a series of events raising money for research into all 200 types of cancer. I am also doing their Pretty muddy run this year in July. It’s a muddy obstacle course that everyone, no matter their ability, can take part in!
